sketchbook work

A big part of my creative practice is constantly sketching. Often very quick marks capturing a moment, which are then reworked into later and sometimes digitally manipulated in Adobe Lightroom. There are three things which excite me at the moment in this work, and those are:

- drawing musicians (my friends, colleagues. mentors, and inspirations) during concerts and rehearsals 

- capturing the essence of the architecture and surroundings of places I visit 

- imagined landscape; these typically either emerging from marks that compositionally excite me or from visions in my dreams.
